A medical mom advocating and educating on my daughter's diagnoses.
My name is Samantha. I am a wife and a mom to 3 beautiful children. One of my children has multiple medical conditions that make it difficult to hold a job because she requires multiple appointments with specialists, travel to a hospital 1 to 2 hours away.

Advocating for your child doesn't mean you are difficult with the doctors it just means you want the best care possible for your child and want to make sure that your child stays happy and healthy in the process.

This blog goes through what Mackenzie has had to go through over the last 3 1/2 years of her little life. She is my strong willed, little girl that fights to make sure she is having a good day. Unfortunately, pain comes with the territory. Gastroparesis, ketotic hypoglycemia, reactive airway disease, a laryngeal cleft that causes her to aspirate on food, and she has other diagnoses that aren't as prevalent.

As long, as she continues to fight with a smile on her face, I will continue to advocate for this little girl.
